What a glorious beginning it was.

Our first service of 2026 at Peace of God Church was more than a gathering. It was a divine appointment. There was a tangible sense of expectation in the room. Hearts were open. Worship was sincere. And the presence of God was undeniable.

From the very first song to the final prayer, it was clear that God was doing something new among us. This was not just the start of a church calendar year. It was the beginning of a prophetic journey.

The Word of the Lord for the Year

Restoration and Divine Exemption

As we sought the Lord concerning this year, He gave us a clear and powerful word:

1. Restoration

Restoration means God is bringing back what was lost, delayed, broken, or stolen.

This is the year where:

Lost opportunities will be restored.

Wasted years will be redeemed.

Broken health will be renewed.

Damaged relationships will be healed.

Stolen joy and peace will return.

God is not just patching things up. He is restoring with increase. What the enemy meant for harm, God is turning for good. What seemed permanently lost is not beyond His reach.

We believe this is a season where testimonies will multiply. Not because of our strength, but because of His faithfulness.

2. Divine Exemption

Divine exemption means that while things may be happening in the world, God marks His people differently.

When there is confusion, there will be clarity for us.

When there is shaking, there will be stability for us.

When there is loss, there will be preservation for us.

This does not mean we ignore reality. It means we trust the One who governs reality. God knows how to protect, preserve, and position His people even in difficult times.

This year, we believe:

Our families are exempt from untimely tragedy.

Our health is exempt from destructive patterns.

Our homes are exempt from chaos.

Our calling is exempt from derailment.

A Strong Beginning

Our first service was filled with faith. It felt like a foundation was laid. A declaration was made in the spirit. Peace is not just our name. It is our inheritance.

As we move forward, we do so with boldness. This is a year to believe again. To build again. To trust again. To expect again.

If you were with us, thank you for being part of this historic moment. If you have not joined us yet, we invite you to come and experience what God is doing.

This is our year.

A year of Restoration.

A year of Divine Exemption.

And we are just getting started.

Event Recap: Voices of Worship (VOW) 1.0 — Raising the Next Generation of Worshippers

Voices of Worship (VOW) 1.0 was more than an event—it was the beginning of a movement. With a clear mission to raise and build young worshippers for the Kingdom of God, this inaugural gathering provided a vibrant platform where children could boldly use their voices and talents to lift up the name of Jesus.

From ages 8 to 13, young ministers took the stage—not for applause, but for worship. Through singing, instrumentals, and spoken word, they glorified God in the purity of their gifts. Each child ministered uniquely, reminding us that worship is not confined to age but flows from a heart surrendered to God.

The atmosphere was filled with joy and reverence as parents watched their children praise God with boldness and authenticity. Many were moved to tears, witnessing their kids step into purpose and ministry with passion and grace.

VOW 1.0 affirmed the truth of Scripture:

“Out of the mouth of babes and infants, You have ordained praise…” (Psalm 8:2)

And this is just the beginning.

We are already looking forward with great anticipation to the next edition: VOW Christmas—a special celebration that promises to be even greater by God’s grace. It will be another opportunity for young voices to rise in praise, declaring Jesus as Lord and King.

Voices of Worship is a call, a platform, and a vision. And the sound of this generation’s worship is only getting louder.

Life rarely goes as planned. We set timelines, map out goals, and aim for perfection, only to face interruptions that leave us confused. The story of Joseph and Mary reveals how God uses these interruptions to unfold His divine purpose.

Watch: Can You Be Trusted?

Lessons from Joseph’s Journey:

1. God’s Plans Interrupt Ours

Life’s interruptions are often divine redirections. While we make plans, God’s purpose will prevail (Proverbs 19:21).

2.Trust Over Fear

Fear can hinder us from embracing God’s purpose. Like Joseph, we must trust God, even when we don’t understand the full picture.

3. Grace Over Shame

Avoiding shame is human, but Jesus bore our shame so we wouldn’t have to (Psalm 25:3). Trusting Him keeps us from disgrace.

4. Don’t Let Opinions Block Miracles

Joseph ignored public perception and chose God’s plan. Never allow the opinions of others to rob you of divine opportunities.

5. Faith Requires Nurturing What God Has Planted

God plants seeds—dreams, talents, or ministries—that require your faithfulness to grow and bear fruit.

6. God Can Trust You When You Trust Him

Can God trust you with His plans, resources, and purpose? Alignment with His agenda brings blessings.

7. Divine Interruptions Lead to Greater Outcomes

When plans are disrupted, trust the One who holds the future. What seems confusing today may be the foundation of a miracle tomorrow.

Trust God enough for Him to trust you.

Share this post to someone. Remain blessed.

Is there someone you want to be like? We often look up to individuals who inspire us with their uniqueness, achievements, or wisdom. Growing up, I admired few people and mentors in the music field, medicine, ministry and career. These remarkable individuals influenced my journey. But recently, as I immersed myself in the New Testament, I found a figure who surpasses them all—Jesus.

The First Adam: A Lost Dominion

When God created Adam, he was made in the image and likeness of God and was given dominion over the earth. However, Adam’s fall disrupted that divine image and authority. He could no longer fully reflect God’s image, likeness, or dominion, and this is where humanity’s struggle began.

The Second Adam: Jesus Christ

Jesus, the “Second Adam,” came to restore what was lost. He was the express image of God, functioning just like God, and had complete dominion over the earth. From calming storms to healing the sick, Jesus demonstrated that both the animate and inanimate obeyed him. His life was a testament to God’s intention for humanity—showing us what God looks like and what we are meant to become.

Believers: The Third Adam

As followers of Christ, we are called to be the “Third Adam”—to reflect God’s image, likeness, and dominion. We are not just passive recipients of God’s grace, but active agents called to embody His nature. But what does it mean to reflect His image? Let’s explore this further.

Reflecting God’s Image

1. God is Love

God is love, and His love was perfectly demonstrated in Jesus, who laid down his life for humanity (1 John 4:8, John 15:13). This same love is what we are commanded to show one another. Love is the ultimate mark of spiritual maturity.

2. God is Holy

Holiness is a core attribute of God, and Jesus embodied it perfectly. As a sinless man, He exemplified what it means to be holy. The call to believers is clear: “Be holy, for I am holy” (1 Peter 1:15-16).

3. God is Faithful

God’s faithfulness is unchanging (Deuteronomy 7:9). Jesus, faithful to the Father’s mission, endured the cross and continues to intercede for us. Likewise, we are called to be faithful in every area of our lives, knowing that faithfulness opens the door to greater responsibility (Luke 19:17).

4. God is Gracious

Grace is a cornerstone of God’s character (Psalm 111:4). Jesus extended grace even to those whom society condemned, like the adulterous woman. As believers, we are called to show grace to others, refraining from condemning where God has not condemned. We must learn to give grace as freely as it was given to us.

5. God is Good

God’s goodness is evident throughout the scriptures (Psalm 100:5). Jesus, filled with the Holy Spirit, went about doing good and healing those oppressed by evil (Acts 10:38). We too are called to do good, especially within the household of faith (Galatians 6:10).

6. God Gives

The ultimate expression of God’s giving nature is found in John 3:16—He gave His only Son for our salvation. Jesus also embodied this by giving his life. As believers, we are called to be generous, not just with our resources but also with our lives, always ready to give for the sake of others and God’s work (Matthew 23:23).

7. God is Light

From the very beginning, God’s light pierced the darkness (Genesis 1:3). Jesus is the true light of the world (John 1:4-5), and as His followers, we are called to be that light in a dark world (Matthew 5:14). If the world is searching for Jesus, they should see Him reflected in us.

An Express Image of God

The ultimate goal of the believer’s life is to reflect the fullness of God’s image—His love, holiness, faithfulness, grace, goodness, generosity, and light. It is an ongoing journey of becoming the express image of God in a world that desperately needs to see Him.

So, is there someone you want to be like? In the end, Jesus is the one we are called to emulate—not just in parts, but in every way. May we all strive to reflect His image more fully each day.

The word “Think” is from the Greek term “volew” which translates to exercising the mind, a process akin to nurturing a seed of imagination into a flourishing tree of reality.
Taking care of your mind is crucial for your future, as your thoughts shape the life you lead. The first step in this process is to ensure that God is present in your thoughts, filtering them through the Word of God. When God is missing from your thoughts, you risk losing the goodness, grace, and glory that come from Him. Hence, it is vital to pray for protection against thoughts that distance you from God. Unholy thoughts take you away from His presence, while uncensored thoughts challenge His existence, pushing you further from Him. Unforgiving thoughts hinder the flow of God’s mercy in your life, and unbelieving thoughts obstruct His works. Therefore, nurturing a mind filled with godly thoughts is essential for a future full of divine blessings and fulfillment.

These are the attributes that should fill your heart and guide your actions (Philippians 4:8). By dedicating your endeavors to the Lord, you create a foundation upon which your thoughts will be securely established, leading you to a path of inner peace and purpose (Proverbs 16:3).

Many Christians are familiar with the phrase “Will of God”, while very few understand it. For those who are new to this phrase, many thoughts come to mind. Did God write a will for me? A will should be written when someone dies right? So was the will written when Jesus died? Some other people only crave for the will of God in their lives when they get to a particular juncture; for example, Marriage. They begin to seek the will of God for them in marriage, having ignored God prior to that.

The will of God is the unique plan that God has for you, so you can achieve his divine purpose. Before you were born, God had a purpose for you. You were not dropped into the earth mistakenly. There is a special purpose for which you were born. The only way to achieve this purpose is by listening and following the one who constructed the purpose. Living outside the will of God for your life leads to dissatisfaction and a miserable outcome.

The question then is; how do you know the will of God for you? Firstly, Be in God. “if any man BE IN CHRIST, he is a new creature”. Being in Christ helps you to know what Christ has purchased for you. Then, Believe God’s word. The bible contains the will of God for your life. If you want to know his plans and provisions for you, then read the bible. Lastly, Build your relationship with God. Develop an intimacy with God. Crave to know him more everyday. In doing that, you become more sensitive to what he wants you to do everyday.

The will of God wheels you to your destiny as you obey him. As you step into your day, watch for those instructions God will be giving you. He will order step in the way you should go, and the outcome is always blissful.

Jeremiah 29:11 KJV

“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.”
